Why this site exists
About Cape Cod Writers
CapeCodWriters.com is rooted in Cape Cod but built for the full writing life: creation, learning, community, publishing knowledge, professional opportunity, and the persistence required to bring meaningful work into the world.
Our mission
Help writers keep writing — and help them understand what comes next. That means craft resources for the page, local connections for the person, trustworthy information for the business, and doors into the larger publishing world.
Wider horizon
Literary agents, book publishers, submissions, grants, magazines, fellowships, education, copyright, research, publishing news, and author tools.
For writers at every stage
There is room here for the first-time writer, the poet, novelist, memoirist, journalist, playwright, essayist, nonfiction author, working professional, retiree beginning a long-delayed book, and experienced author preparing the next one.
Part of the Cape Cod Arts Network
Cape Cod Writers joins a growing family of CCAN projects connecting artists, actors, theaters, music, dance, and other creative communities. The long-term idea is simple: creative people are stronger when useful resources and real connections are easier to find.
